VEHICULAR EMISSION TESTING

The Board is operating a fixed/permanent Vehicular Emission Testing Station at its office premises, Lumpyngngad, Shillong that has been estalished during 1994 for testing of the Petrol and Driven driven vehicles (Light Motor Vehicles) only on request of the Transport Department for the purpose of obtaining the exhaust emission certificate as required by the Transport authority for grant/renewal of registration and permits. Mostly, the commercial driven vehicles (LMV) are tested from this station. The Vehicular testing is as shown below:
